WordPress 2.5.1 has problem of display UTF-8 characters correctly. The work around is to comment out the line
//define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8′);
I am surprised however, version 2.6 did not fix it. Very annoying to say the least.

After upgrading through Fantastico, an “Upgrader” need to be run. The first thing this Upgrader may have problem is storage folder ( ../g2data) permission. It asks to run “chmod -R 777″ command. In my case, the FTP progam was not able to run the -R 777 option. There is a php utility in the ../lib/support folder to do the [...] This is a test to see how Gengo plug-in for Word Press works. Although it works to some extend, I would say it is fairly buggy. On the other hand, I guess it is better than nothing and at least it seems works better than xLanguage plug-in. |
